Csaba Pengő double bass player and composer

Born in 1974, double bass player Csaba Pengő’s interest turned towards music at his early teenage years. He earnt his degree at Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music in 2004.

Throughout his studies and work of the past decades he got familiar with a wide range of different genres. Csaba is an experienced musician having taken part in many music productions and studio recordings.

He released his debut instrumental solo album ’Circles’ with his own compositions in 2021. The album has received impressive recognition and Csaba has been playing the pieces on in a number of chamber music concerts.

His follow-up album „Autumn Rain in a Secret Garden” was ranked „Album of the Year 2023” at the Netherlands-based Native DSD platform.
