The Morizot family is well-known in the world of bow making. Louis Joseph Morizot, a bow maker from Mirecourt, worked for Sartory from 1914 to 1919 before setting up his own workshop, with his son Louis Gabriel eventually taking over.

The double bass bows made by both father and son are highly sought after, particularly this exceptional example by Louis Gabriel. It features an octagonal stick made of high-quality Pernambuco, silver mounting, a Parisian eye, and a mother-of-pearl slide. The bow is well balanced, producing a strong attack and rich sound, and comes with a certificate of authenticity from Thomas & George Martin.

The competition ends on 16th October at 7:00 PM GMT, and the winner will be drawn two days later on 18th October at 7:00 PM GMT.

📦  How is the bow delivered to the winner?

The double bass bow will be securely packaged and sent via a tracked and insured postal service. The Winner will receive a tracking number once it's on the way.
