Henri Vieuxtemps’ Tarantella is taken from his collection of pieces for violin and piano, 6 Morceaux de Salon, op. 22. The work follows a typical tarantella style, with a repeating rondo theme and a relentless fast tempo throughout. This new transcription of the work for double bass by Catalin Rotaru stays true to the original whilst altering a number of chords for playability. This edition contains Catalin’s fingerings and bowings, and is available with piano parts in solo or orchestral tuning.

Double Bass music purchased from String Virtuoso Shop comes with both a clean part and a part with bowings and fingerings from the editor.
