Brock Drevlow
Brock Drevlow is a double bass soloist, educator, and active performer based in Minneapolis, MN. Praised by Classical Minnesota Public Radio, Drevlow’s playing has been described as "jaw-dropping and sensational."
As one-half of the piano and bass duo L’Ambizioso, Drevlow has toured extensively, headlining over 150 concerts nationwide. He has also been a member of the Bemidji Symphony Orchestra, Fargo-Moorhead Symphony Orchestra, and Greater Grand Forks Symphony Orchestra.
Drevlow studied Double Bass Performance at the Peabody Conservatory of Music at Johns Hopkins University and earned a Bachelor of Music (BM) in Performance from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. His studies were with Chris Brown, Ira Gold, Dr. Gregory Hamilton, Paul Johnson, Jeffrey Weisner, and Dave Williamson.
He performs on an American double bass made by Chris Threlkeld-Wiegand (#55), crafted in 2023.
