Michele Cellaro playing a double bass

Michele Cellaro

Michele Cellaro obtained his diploma from the music conservatory “Niccolò Piccinni” in Bari, studying under the guidance of Maestro Franco Petracchi. After graduation, he dedicated himself to teaching and exploring the technical and expressive possibilities of the contrabass.

Even in retirement, he continues his work as an author, conducting research in music; as an orchestra director, performing a variety of musical genres; and as an instrumentalist, playing his beloved double bass with the same joy he has always had. His commitment to music reflects the true essence of his life.
