Christopher Xuereb

Christopher started tuition under his father, Dion Xuereb, in the same year he made his first debut with the National Youth Orchestra of Malta. He went on to play with the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, Linz Youth Orchestra, Orchestra Di Pesaro and the BRNO Philharmonic Orchestra. Christopher moved to the U.K. in 2009 and studied at the Royal College of Music and the Royal College of Music. In 2018 he started having tuition with Mr. Thomas Martin. As a soloist, he performed concertos and pieces by Bottesini, Tubin, Gajdos, Dragonetti, Dittersdorf amongst other composers. After graduating, he made his solo debut at the Holywell Music Room in Oxford in 2015 and in 2017 he was invited to perform with the Encore! In Cambridge. In 2018, Christopher performed Concerto No.1 in F Sharp Minor by Giovanni Bottesini at St Giles Cripplegate, London. Christopher freelances in the U.K. and is an active solo performer and composer.
