About Thomas Martin
Thomas Martin is one of the world’s best-known double bassists and an expert on the virtuoso Giovanni Bottesini. He studied in America under Harold Roberts, Oscar Zimmerman, and Roger Scott, and has held principal positions with many orchestras including the London Symphony Orchestra. He currently teaches at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
