Biography

Born in Katowice, Poland in 1967, Bogusław began learning the double bass at the age of 9. In 1986 he enrolled at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice where he studied with Waldemar Tamowski, graduating with a distinction in 1991. His postgraduate studies led him to study in Germany with Günter Klaus at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts. Bogusław has played as a soloist with many prominent orchestras in Poland and other countries including Germany, Italy, France, Austria, Switzerland and the Czech Republic.
